Sid Siddiqui – a man who lives life to the full
Sid Siddiqui (Mohammed Saleem Siddiqui) has worked for the NHS for 37 years, after qualifying as a Power Engineer from the University of Derby (formerly Derby Degree College ). During his long career in the NHS he has fulfilled many roles in the environmental aspects of the Estates department. Due to his length of service, vast subject knowledge and his passionate commitment to all things environmental, he has become, and is recognised as, an expert in the field by his own NHS Trust and the wider NHS community.
Sid has a natural talent for public speaking, together with his subject knowledge; he has given numerous lectures, speeches and tutorials at many internal and external events at various venues.
Sid is truly a family man, a proud father, loving grandfather, a compassionate and caring husband. His mannerisms and demeanour reflect a calm and collected nature with a hint of wisdom.
Sid’s hobbies include serious DIY, he is also a keen gardener and less keen walker. Due to his new found fame Sid has also learnt to embrace social media and his posts and comments on Twitter generate a great deal of genuine admiration and respect from his followers.
