About the Siddiquis
In late January 2013, Baasit Siddiqui was casually emailed by a close friend about an idea for a simple television show that Channel Four were piloting. Five years later, and Channel Fours Gogglebox is still going strong. The Siddiquis have been a part of the show for many years now providing a good mixture of dry intelligent humour along with insightful thought provoking comments. Their comments have particularly resonated with fans of the show when topics of diversity and the political landscape of the country have been areas of focus. During their time on the show they have been approached by a number of individuals and businesses to attend and promote local events this includes:
• Opening NHS charity fairs
• Attended an event to help raise money to support sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease.
• Networked at an event to help raise money for tree tops hospice elderly care.
• Created promotional videos for the NHS campaigns “Dying Matters”, and “Patient Dignity Day”
• Written and created video logs for newspaper promoting the local area
• Acting as judges for local talent shows and baking competitions
• Guest speakers at a number of conferences

Throughout all of these events and services, they have been praised for their sincerity, respect and professionalism (see the Testimonials page to see what people have said).
